Mapus is a web map for route art made on foot. You draw a running or walking path on the map—often a shape, word, or picture—and turn that route into a quest that other people can open, read, and follow in the real world.
A quest author traces a route on the map, adds a title and optional story, and publishes when ready. Published quests appear on the home map for people nearby. Anyone can view the route, download GPX if offered, and walk or run it. Authors can set a fixed start, time limits, and checkpoints along the line. Completing a route on the ground is between you and the path—you are responsible for traffic rules and your own safety.
Draft quests stay private until published. Mapus does not guarantee that every named place along a route endorses the drawing or the activity.
